This was a sprprsingly negative review of the bike.  MCN just reviewed it and loved the bike, said it was a better choice than the VFR.

I found that interesting as well. Almost total opposite ends of the opinion scale.

Hope the link works, a British review of the VFR 800.  It is wrong about the linked brakes, I do not have linked brakes.  I find that if I do not invoke VTEC, the variable valves, I can get 60 mpg.  If I push it and wring the whole 105 hp, more like 30 mpg.  Good thing I am such a sedate rider.
