I'm seriously looking at the 2018 R1200RT.  I like the white one.  Perhaps the Spezial with brown seat.  I gotta sell my GS first then I'll trade in the LT if there are any left by summer.

Yeah at 55 y/o I'm thinking about my last big new bike purchase.  Looking at everything from the RT or Bagger to an Indian or new Harley Softail.  Even the new Goldwing or a Guzzi Calif.  But the big thing is the weight and the fuel cap./mileage.  The RT is the lightest and can go the furthest.  It's not even the most expensive!

Yeah, I bought the VFR with touring in mind, I wanted something better than 200 miles between gas stops.
