Gone Riding: 2016 Yamaha FJR1300

For the previous question about "Sport-Tourers" at the end of this article is nice comparison table.

Yamaha is the FJR, considered middle sport-tourer
Kawasaki is the Concourse, considered the SPORT-tourer
Honda is the ST1300 (did not import any for 2014 and 2015, still available in Europe), considered the sport-TOURER
BMW is the 1150 variants - considered just dang expensive

BMW hasn't made the 1150 in over a decade. It's a 1200 boxer or 1600 six. Yup expensive. The 1150 RT is the last beautiful touring BMW I. M. O.

and no, this bike is not in my future.  It was there when  I bought the VFR, and I have no regrets.

10,000 mile FJ-09 long term test.

Yamaha needs to get the fuel capacity up around 5.5 gallons.
