If this is the best burger in CT, I will pass.

The Best Burger (Or Darn Close To It) In Your State
7 of 51
Connecticut: K. LaMay’s
Classic Connecticut burgers are steamed, and K. LaMay’s is one of the original steamers. Steaming the burgers (with the top bun already on the patty) does give the dish a somewhat unusual consistency, but it is quite pleasing. Add some cheddar, and you have a state specialty.

Personally, I would go to the Denison Farmer market on Sunday in Mystic at noon and get a burger from Ed.  Better yet , get a cheeseburger with a half inch thick slice of cheddar on it.  Or my favorite, a Kelly Dog (hot dog shaped kielbasa) with caramelized onion.
