Here it is folks! We will be running a Summer of 2009 Contest/Game: Tag O Rama!
What
This game is intended to give folks an excuse to get out and ride and learn more about this place we call home.
Who
Any registered user may participate in the game.
Where
This game is limited to sites within the state of Connecticut
When
The game will begin on June 1, 2009 and run until October 31, 2009
PRIZES???
The person who has the most successful tags will win a CTRiders shirt of their choice.
Judges
To make sure users adhere to the rules, the Admin and moderators will enforce the rules. Should a member of the judges partake in a particular tag, he will not be eligible to confirm it.
Rules
1. Find the tag and reproduce the photo (as best as possible). The first person to post a found tag gets to place the next tag. If you get a tag, but somebody else posts their picture first, you lose.
2. Take the tag to a new location, get the photo and post it here. Give a few hints so the next person can figure out where the tag is located. Try to place the tags in interesting locations, maybe a bit of history that can be found down some nice twisties.
3. New tag must be placed within 72 hours. If new tag is not set, the tag will revert to the previous tag, and somebody else will get their chance. If you won't have the time to drop it off, don't pick it up to begin with. The new picture will be date confirmed by the judging staff. The tags must be new as of the time of this contest. That is to say, if you have a previous picture lurking on your hard drive of the current tag, you many NOT use it. Get out there and ride!!
4. Tag must be findable and not placed on a dirt road. You must ride your bike to the tag location.
The judges will be verifying pictures, and moderating the thread as necessary to keep the game flowing. Each member who gets a successful tag, will have a running count kept in their profile. You will be able to see this number in each of their posts, underneath the garage field.
There is a new category in the gallery to post pictures from your tags. Please put your photos there. If a new member joins, and wants to play, please send me a PM after you puload a photo, so I can approve it for posting. Please keep image sizes reasonable, 800x600 is preferred.
