I know you've had an eye on these and it seems like the price is right. I'm almost tempted...

Isn't the 2005 version carburated? It wasn't until 07 that they went FI.
If the bike is clean and no mechanical issues......that's a deal.
Go for it Jeff!

Yeah I believe it's carbed, but there is nothing wrong with carbs as long as you maintain and drain them. I've stored snowmobiles for about 20 years now and have never once had a carb issue. Two of my bikes have them and still, no issues.

The bike I get the best fuel mileage on (60+) is carbed actually!

I've got too many bikes as it is. I don't NEED another.

Need?  You are talking need?
I have a friend with a low mileage Bonnie left behind when his wife divorced him.  I bet he would let it go on favorable terms.  (Of course, he cracked up his Sprint a month ago...)

Not sure, he said it was 12 or 13 years old.  He lost control in his dirveway and flipped it.  Damage to forks and plastics, not sure he wants to fix.

It might have been that sort of thing.  Mostly cold tires and too much torque.
