The low rider was always my favorite Harley model.  I'll have to take a look at this one, should it be successful,  when retirement time comes around.

. . . as reported to this forum by yours, truly, on December 29.

Max BMW has a nice photo-essay--at least 100 photos, I'd estimate--on a recent project.  They built a 1975 BMW R90S pretty much from scratch, using $46,000 of warehouse-fresh spare parts.  (6 parts were unobtainable new, so they had to use used ones.)

The (professional quality) photos show them assembling the bike, seemingly step-by-step, over 4 days in December.

Really brought back memories of my old R100--the breaker points, the d**ned oil-filler opening (long skinny funnel mandatory), the gas tank that pops on & off without tools . . .

Well worth a look!  Here's the URL: http://www.maxbmwmotorsport.com/max_bmw_r90s_build/

A hi-rez version of the photo is available.

Yamaha has setup a teaser website, complete with countdown clock, for a new motorcycle(s) that should break cover next week. With just over eight days on the clock, at the time of this writing, we won’t have to wait long as we speculate to what Yamaha is brewing for us

I am waiting.  An FJ-900 would be kind of nice to see.

Have to admit that I would be very tempted if they came out with a middle weight faired tourer!
