I'm on my second set of pilot road 3.  I've been very happy with them, particularly in the rain.

I'm on my first set of PR3's and I'm quite happy with them, too. I would definitely recommend them, and have.

I used the PR2 between the Dunlaps that came with the bike and the PR3s.  Nothing wrong with the PR2, but the PR3 has a better rain tread.

The FZ8 came with Bridgestone Battle Ax.
No experience in the rain as of yet, but they seem to handle well at this point.

Tested.  I put them on for one of the runs Jerry, Ski and I made to VT.  It rained 2 days, the bike was as stable in the rain as I ever saw it.  Some of it could be confidence because of the advertising, but either way, I feel better with them.

Hmmmmmmm I've read they are better then PR2s in the rain but nothing ground breaking. Perhaps my fat pig of a bike and avoiding rain unless on vacation has me alittle biased! ;)

The PR series has been a massive success for Michelin. If I were Pirelli, I would go that way too.

I would think a lot of the tire manufacturers are seriously watching Michelin.

I brought the Bike Bandit sale flyer to New England Cycle Works (Groton) and they beat the sale price by about 5 bucks/tire.  My Pilot Road 4's are on the way.  Also changing  to 90 degree valve stems.
