So. with the wonderful weather that we've been experiencing lately................... >:(

What's been the outcome of the waterproof glove research?

Looks like surgical gloves are out and the plastic lunch line gloves are out.

Does this mean that we'll actually have to invest in gloves specifically designed for the task at hand ::)

What be they?

I still haven't made any kind of glove purchase yet. If I do it'll be the Teknic Freeway gloves.

I was in Cycle Gear the other day and they actually had a pretty wide selection of summer gloves but nothing waterproof.

Hey Gearhd................

No mixing today?

Nope, nothing today. Damn rain! They only had a few loads going out today and theres more senior guys ahead of me that are willing to come in and take them. With the whole building fallout right now it doesn't take much to cause a slow day for us. Back a couple years ago we'd be busy even in heavy rain. There was so much work and everyone was back logged so they'd have to work no matter that the weather was. Now people are twiddling their thumbs between jobs so they can choose to stay home when it's raining. It sort of sucks for me but at least I have a job I guess.

Yeah it sucks but thats life I guess. It all averages out in the end. On the dry days I get plenty of hours, I just miss out on some OT when the rain comes. That's life right now though.

Yes, as I type its pouring here. You didn't ride the bike in did you?

No I came from an appointment with the audiologist, so I had my car. I really thought about taking the bike, anyway but I'm glad I didn't. 91 was nasty.
