Waterproof Glove Suggestion? Warm Weather.
« on: May 10, 2009, 01:04:45 PM »
Does anyone have a suggestion for good waterproof warm weather gloves? My dad uses a pair of Cortech GX Air gloves but he says if your hands get just a bit wet before putting the gloves on, the inside of the gloves stick to your hands and you can't slip them on easily. I don't even see where it says those gloves are waterproof but I know his hands stay dry with them.

Not if you are trying to score points at the elderly home.

When you find a decent pair that aren't over priced, let us know.

I'm thinking some Ziplock bags with zip ties around the wrist. Also trash bags around the body.

warm weather and waterproof can't be used in the same sentence. I use an over-glove and sweat my balls off. If frogg toggs made an overglove and you had a very cool glove to go underneath that's be a start at waterproof warm weather set up.

You have balls on your hands?

Yeah i'm sure the gloves aren't going to breath thats for sure. I'm just looking for a NON insulated waterproof glove. I see a lot of cold weather waterproof gloves, those are what i'm not interested in.

Haha, actually a lot of people just use those. I suppose I could but we'll see. Last year I just let my other gloves get soaked and the dye from the glove turned my hands pretty colors.

I use rubber over gloves over my regular leather gloves. Non-insulated, but also non-breathable. Days like today its not fun.

I though about this on my ride today, what about food service gloves?

Like the ones the Lunchlady would wear. Hoagies and grinders, navy beans, navy beans, meatball sandwich
