I'm pretty much all m/c geared up, so I don't have much planned in the way of that.

I'm considering selling my Lenovo 3000 N100 laptop, to move to a HP mini 1000. I have a MacBook Pro which I use as a home computer, but I want something ultra-portable that I can bring with me to UConn and not have it take up much space in my backpack. This is more important for days I take the bike, as the Lenovo is just too big to fit with all the other stuff I commute with. It's a hard decision for me for two reasons: I'm a grad student, on a grad student salary and I don't necessarily have use for a laptop everyday. The times I need it are always spontaneous: my schedule changed for some reason. I have had a 7" eeePc in teh past, but my XXXL hands just don't fit so well. The HP is suppose dot have the best keyboard of any netbook (92% of full size), and it has a logical placement for the right shift key. If Lenovo would fix the keyboard on teh S10, I's be all in.. but the HP looks to be a winner.

I thought about that, but I (ideally) need everyhting in one bag. I have a good walk to my building on campus, and I need all my stuff during the day.
The space issue isn't the only thing motivating the purchase, though.

That said, last thing I bought was a HP Mini 1000

Heh, I'll have to ban her IP, so she wont accidentally end up in this thread.

My Tax return this year made this purchase MUCH less stressful, as I got about half of the price of the ring back ;)

Just heard back from the Jeweler, with the news I was expecting, so the ring has been financed for 3 years with no interest. ;)

Hardy Har... I'm actually considering an 848 as my next bike, as long as I don't need a new bike before I graduate.

Sweet!

Hope so!!  I found out I can no longer get the Triumph Performance muffler (aka TOR) for my bike.  British Customs recommened the Two Bros as even better choice.  Mike in parts called TB an got one for me.  Seems even TBR is phasing out pipes for the older sprints.  Should be in Friday.
