We're going to start something new here at CT Riders.

The 3rd Sunday of the month will be an official group ride to the Vanilla Bean in Pomfret, CT. I'm sure most of you know it. Anyone is welcome to attend, new members, old members, it just doesn't matter. It's a chance for everyone to connect and possibly form some more rides to fill in the gaps.

The meeting point will be the Bolton Post office on RT44 near where RT384 starts/ends. The address is 681 Boston Turnpike, Bolton, CT 06043 for you Google addicts.

Time will be determined closer to the actual date of the ride. I'd say somewhere around 10am would be a good place to start.

Meeting time for 5/18 ride. 9:30am at Bolton Post Office.

Attendee's:
Me
Tim
Jerry
Barry
SkiMan (Kim)
Dennis
Paula? (I think she mentioned going)
Heidi? (Will confirm later)

That makes July 18th the first ride.

I can already say I'm out. That day is our 'engaged couples retreat' so the Catholic Church will marry us Roll Eyes

HIJACK!!!!
Yeah,  I remember that kinda stuff with the church...got  the big lecture on:  marrying "out of faith" cuz Joy was a heathen Scot/English/Irish prostant, the 'living in sin" diatribe cuz we'd been living together, plus a lot of other intrusive and personal subjects.

Finally I gave him a "donation" and all was well in the eyes of the church.

At least back then it was only a two hour waste on time on a Saturday.

Now back to the subject!!

Sounds like a plan....

They actually make it a weekend retreat now. Two full days of that crap.

Luckily we got out of it, and just have to do one full day.
