Personally, I think if you don't wear a seatbelt or a helmet you're being stupid.  But, I don't think the government should require either.  That said if the government already requires you to wear a seatbelt they should also require you to wear a helmet.  Not to mention all the riders who wear "novelty" helmets, either cruiser guys or hipsters.
I agree entirely. I don't even ride to the end of my street without a helmet. So, that law doesn't come into play for me.

Helmet Law Proposed In CT For All Riders

I hope it passes. They make you wear a seatbelt, they should make you wear a helmet.

Yeah, it won't happen here. Imagine splitting lanes in Hartford traffic?

Hey, there's nothing wrong with that. So you're going to have only the Harley in the stable when all said and done?

So who's actually still active on here? If you log in here and you're still close to CT, please post something in here, even if it's "Hi".

If we could get a decent turnout of around 4-5+ people we should do some sort of low key lunch/coffee meet up somewhere just so everyone can catch up. We'll figure out where everyone is located and then mutually agree on somewhere in the middle of everyone.

Is anyone interested?

I think I like the new CRF450L more. I've been giving it some serious consideration. Even the 250 Rally is intriguing.

I'd compare the XRx with the XRt, there's a lot more useable bells and whistles on the "t". Better adjustable suspension and more modes and settings.

Was it worth the trip once you got in there?

Wow, I read this and thought someone was actually organizing a group ride finally. Then I saw it was from 5 years ago.

I've heard of problems with AAA when you're in a state or region that doesn't offer motorcycle services as part of their plan. That's why I like AMA and it's cheap with auto renewal.

I don't hate it but..., that headlight!! I'm sure it'll weigh 700 lbs too.
