Federal Appeals Court Rules Parking Chalk Unconstitutional

https://www.asphaltandrubber.com/news/parked-vehicle-chalk-marks-unconstitutional/

Well that's funny.  Something that used to be common and now is almost unheard of is ruled unconstitutional. Can I get my money back, with interest, from those tickets I paid in the 70's & 80's?  Probably the only places still doing this are quiet summer beach towns with a hand full of part time seasonal officers.

What’s that mean?  Website says they close at 5pm. Is this a hang out in the parking lot thing?  Food?  Every Friday?

Personally, I think if you don't wear a seatbelt or a helmet you're being stupid.  But, I don't think the government should require either.  That said if the government already requires you to wear a seatbelt they should also require you to wear a helmet.  Not to mention all the riders who wear "novelty" helmets, either cruiser guys or hipsters.

I'd be happy to just let bikes ride the break down lane in stopped traffic.

That's when I am most in fear of being run over.

this is insane.  I'm afraid the cars next to me will hit my mirrors when I'm in the truck.  the first time a bike splits lanes and the cars close the gap there will be an uproar.

I honestly don't get electric motorcycles.  Maybe for dedicated racers, off road only and commuter/scooters.  But they gotta be priced to sell.  You know as soon as you buy one a better model will come out for less $.

Oh, I guarantee I'll be scraping floorboards

I rode one years ago when I was working for the Middletown PD
I managed to snap two drive belts downshifting before a turn
